WELCOME!
TO THE WATERCOLOUR PAGE!
Not many on this page I'm afraid, as watercolours are
certainly not my strongest medium - however I enjoy
having a go!
No matter - here we go.

This is taken from our holiday to Egypt in 2009.
I was sat sketching, and attracted a small crowd,
one of whom was a lady who asked if I would be
willing to sell her one of the sketches. I told
her I would do better than that, and do her a
larger one - her own "original". Two weeks
after arriving home it was on its way - a few
days later she sent me a very nice "thank you"
letter, saying how much she loved it. Nice!

This is my favourite local mill, one I have
worked on a few times now. It was only
placed in a glass free frame for just for me
to photograph it. It's painted on Saunders
Waterford 300lb paper, using artists quality
paints. The finished picture is 8"x12"
and is fitted in a double card mount.

Same mill, same technical details as above.
This one is done in cooler tones though
but looks just as good. Hope you enjoy it.

Here is one of my newer watercolours.
I have lately started going to a local life
drawing group, and though it is a new
venture for me, this is one of my better
attempts. But I do feel that it is helping
both my art and my confidence.
Hope you enjoy it too.
